About the Event

Learn about cordials and elixirs made with herbs that pay homage to the winter season. We will take a special look at heart opening, warming, and stimulating digestive herbs - perfect for crafting comforting seasonal elixirs. We will discuss the healing properties of common herbs used in these preparations and learn about their historical uses including a brief history of the use of herbs in alcohol and as digestifs.

This workshop will include recipes, demonstrations, tastings, and everyone will take home a vial of a special Valentine’s Day themed cordial, perfect for a day of self-love. We’ll also learn how to make a heart forward mulled wine, and will use some heart opening and aphrodisiac herbs in our herbal concoctions.
