About the Event
Join us for a class on Eastern energetic nutrition and learn ways to live more in harmony with the Winter season. Educator and Acupuncturist, Lisa Zeppegno will cover seasonal holistic medicine, nutrition, and herbalism through the lens of Chinese medicine. We will go over the properties and uses of common Eastern herbs- like astragalus, ginger, jujube, and angelica- and ways to utilize them in everyday meals. We'll taste a healing herbal broth and everyone will take home inspired recipes and a herbal broth kit.
* Lisa Zeppegno is driven by a passion to help others and believes that everyone deserves to live a healthy and balanced existence. She works with patients to integrate health, exercise, nutrition and educated on how Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can be a part of lifelong wellness. She loves to cook and firmly believe that food is medicine.
Lisa graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2000 where I studied acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and nutrition. She is accredited and licensed both statewide and nationally and has studied with renowned teachers such as Matt Callison, L.Ac., John Steinke, L.Ac., Whit Reeves, L.Ac., and Richard Tan, OMD. Additional studies include: muscle testing, whole food nutrition and women's health and fertility.
