About the Event
We will explore the world of herbal medicine and its connections to the garden and kitchen. Many of our most common kitchen herbs and spices are not only staples in the culinary world, but also boast a variety of medicinal qualities. We will go over the properties and uses of common kitchen medicinals as well as ways to utilize them in cooking, including basic medicine making. This workshop will include herbal-inspired recipe and everyone will create and take home an herbal salt blend and bouquet garni.
