Yin Broth Herbs are an easy way to add healing herbs to your daily meals. Our recipe includes four herbs that are traditionally used to nourish Yin energy - meaning blood, body fluids and deep vitality. Reishi mushroom benefits immunity, stress response and is anti-inflammatory. Angelica Root and Chinese Yam nourish blood and precious Yin fluids. Jujubies are a harmonizing date that strengthen Qi energy and calm the mind.
Yin Broth herbs impart a very light, sweet flavor that plays well in broths, soups and recipes of all kinds. Preparing the herbs in fresh water (instead of broth/stock) is great in smoothies, oatmeal, grains or simply as a healing tonic teas.
Ingredients: Reishi/Ling Zhi, Jujube Dates/Da Zao, Angelica Root/Dang Gui, Chinese Yam/Shan Yao. Pesticide-free.
Instructions: Add herbs to filtered water, vegetable or meat stock (up to 80 oz of liquid). Simmer on low heat for at least 15 minutes and up to 24 hours. Do not reduce the liquid. Strain out the herbs and store liquid in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or the freezer for up to 3 months.
